Why fashion from South Africa?

My love for fashion started at a young age, and like most women I grew up believing that the best was to be found on the catwalks of Paris. Since the last 14 years though, South Africa has proven that you need not look so far for greatness. Designers in South Africa are creating stunning work, drawing deeply from the cultural and political landscape to create their own sense of style.

Finding the right style

I listen to what women want, and specifically pick items from independent designers in South Africa, to import for them. You will be pleasantly surprised to see they have a fresh and unique sense of style, which easily has an international appeal. These designs cross boundaries, fight the perception of ‘typical African style’ and help fight cheap imports by supporting the local textile market.

Casual or Custom

The range of clothes is not seasonal, trend hungry or disposable. It is fashion that is made to fit your lifestyle. The range is divided into Casual and Custom. Under Casual you could expect to find the flattering, unique clothes for everyday wear. The Custom range are the limited edition, handworked pieces which are for that special occasion.

We work with very talented make-up aritsts, who have their pulse on trend and know how to bring the best out in you. We run workshops with these students, recruiting them on a project basis for work experience. We do home party make-overs, ramp and photography make-up. See some of their work here.

Styling Services

People from Africa are doing it for themselves! Many are making it in the public entertainment industry and finding themselves in the public eye. To keep it real, we offer styling services to artists who want to combine their heritage, personality and trend into a look that works for them on stage, and off. We achieve this by combining the right fashion and make-up look
